Last night we were not able to post because we spent the night in Balmorhea. I am sorry for not having internet service at the house. West Texas does not have the best technology...haha!!!
Me and Jared (kinda) put the baby room together last night. I say "kinda" because we did not get completely finished with all the details. We still have the border to put up. Thanks to Granny Faith--we recieved all of the bedding in the mail and had a wonderful time putting it on the bed. Most of you already know what the room is done in--Mossy Oak Camoflage! Jared made the comment that we better not dress the babies in camo because we wouldn't be able to find them. It is so cute and I will be sure to post pictures when we get it all finished. We still have a few minor things we want to get done.
Wyatt is up to 2 pounds and 12 ounces. He has really began to put on the ounces since they have started him on formula. He is so sweet and always so chilled out. He is doing reallly good. They will be doing an echocardiogram on Monday to make for sure his PDA has closed. His head ultrasounds continue to look great and he is still tolerating his vapo-therm well! They had to reduce his feedings to 12 cc's every three hours due to a little residual from previous feedings. But we will return to the 17 cc's he was at before.
Miss Whitley is enjoying having her own quiet room. Her o2 sats are remaining pretty high most of the time. She has her occasional drops every once in a while but is able to bring them back up on her own. She is still on the oscillator...but soon should be back on the conventional ventilator. They are just giving her little lungs a little time to rest. Her chest xrays are improving everyday and her blood gas levels are continuing to look good. These minor setbacks seem to be big speedbumps...but we know with prayer and faith we will get to where we need to be.

How great that Wyatt is putting on the weight! He'll be a chunker before you know it! And Whitley will get whatever she wants! I'm sure she's got Jared wrapper around her little finger, just like Wyatt has you! We miss yall so much and hope to see you REAL soon!
Always glad to hear good updates. I can't wait to see the baby room...I'm not surprised about the camo:)
Now I just have to find a time that I can come out and see you and those sweet little babies:)
