New Baby in the "Feeder and Grower" Room!!!

Momma "snuggling" with Wyatt!

Hello World!!!!

Daddy feeding Wyatt.

Daddy installing the carseat base!
Sorry it has taken forever. It seems like me and Jared have been spending every waking minute with the babies. We are absolutely exhausted as we right this blog...but we would not have it any other way.
I am sure some of y'all are awaiting big updates. This blog will inform you of many of those.
Miss Whitley is doing great. She is still enjoying her little room by herself. Her O2 sats are remaining high. The doctor bumped her flow up to 4 L yesterday to give her a little chance to rest. The nurse noticed that her tummy was a little distended. They stopped her feedings (but will be begin in the a.m.) and put her back on TPN until they can figure out for sure what the cause is. The doctor came to visit with us yesterday and informed us that it seemed to be just gas (and that Jared looked good without his mustache). We can handle that.
Wyatt was moved yesterday to the "Feeder and Grower" room. This is a step-down room in the NICU where the stable babies are placed until they are ready to go home. Evidentally, they were in need of a few places for a few new babies. Wyatt was one of the most stable babies in the NICU so they moved our big boy. He is doing absolutely amazing. He is now in an open crib...meaning that he has no heat (he is able to maintain his body temp completely). We are bottle feeding him every other feeding by bottle. He is now taking 45 cc's. We've really had to work to get him to finish the last few bottles. We are hoping and praying that in a week or so we will have our little boy home with us.
Sister is not far behind...she is insisting on blessing us with her company on her timing. The doctor ordered a lot of labs and cultures a few days ago because Miss Whitley seemed to be agitated and not herself. Hmmm...me and Jared said it was her way of saying "Leave me ALONE for a little while." The labs came back normal with no signs of infection. She has been doing great ever since. That's our little girl!!!!
We continue to be blessed daily through sincere thoughts and prayers from friends and family. Please continue to lift our two little angels up as well as all the other little angels fighting in the NICU. God Bless!
Teri, Jared, Whitley, and Wyatt

I am loving the blog and especially the pictures. Thank you for taking the time to keep everyone updated. And I agree with the doctor - I like Jared better without the moustache!
