As many of you know, Miss Whitley has always loved her "girly" figure and has not wanted to eat as much as her brother. However, just within the past week...she has finally caught on. She is eating more than her brother it seems!
So you may ask--"How did you get her started eating?" This is what we did. They have a little snack for toddlers called "PUFFS"! I know they they are not toddlers yet, but we got them anyway. I was kinda nervous about giving them to her thinking they might choke. Wyatt loved them and did really well with them at first. We started breaking them into smaller pieces for Miracle Whit until she got the hang of it. Now, she eats all the time.
They are both eating cereal (A LOT) in the morning for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and then cereal (A LOT) again at night. They can finish off 1 to 1 1/2 jars of baby food at a time. YES--that would be times 2!!! Plus, the numerous amounts of snacks they eat throughout the day and the bottles supplemented here and there.
We went back to the doctor last week. Whitley was always 14 pounds and Wyatt was almost 16 pounds. They are getting so big. They are both really trying to crawl...they want to so bad...but just can't yet! Only a matter of weeks before we have two mobile babies. YIKES!!!
They are doing much better at sleeping through the night. Miss Whitley has slept the past three nights through. Wyatt wake up around 4 or 4:30 for a bottle but goes right back to sleep. Last nigth, he managed to hold out until 5:30. So I do think we are getting better!!!
I will try to post some pics sometime this week.
Please keep in mind that we will be participating in the "March for Babies" in April! We are asking for donations for our team. You may find a donation link on my blog or contact me for more questions. We are so thankful for all that was done for our precious little miracles. We are happy that we can give back. We will be walking in honor of Makayla Lynn Munguia.
